We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to work primarily in a wedding and events environment. Working alongside our Events Manger you will plan and ensure the smooth running of our weddings and events on a

daily basis.

The Manor caters for events up to 150 people on weekends and has a strong wedding trade. Midweek we also host conferences, golf days, and other special occasions.

A successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and a track record of excellent staff management and customer service skills. You will take responsibility for the running of weddings and events in the absence of the events manager and deal with any issues that arise during each shift promptly and professionally.





Most importantly we are looking for someone with a vibrant, positive personality and a can-do attitude. You will be a natural hospitality person with a good work ethic. A role model for the team,

you will lead by example and will be able to motivate and coach junior staff. You will be expected to provide direction and support to other staff ensuring they are fully briefed and trained for the upcoming events.

Media & Marketing Specialist will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of events, with a particular focus on marketing and media promotion. You’ll be responsible for creating and managing digital content, implementing social media strategies, and supporting the marketing efforts to ensure our events reach and engage the right audience.

Shifts, salary & benefits

· Hours will be flexible to cover 4-6 days a week

· 28 day holiday entitlement

· Salary will start at £28,000 based on experience







· All hours worked are paid at standard rate

· Weekly pay

· Tips are additional and paid equally amongst all staff
