Location: Remote (home based - West Midlands/Worcestershire)
Contraact: Full Time - FTC Contract: Fixed term 12 months (maternity cover)
Salary £12.00 per hour
Hours Full-time 37.5 hours per week (part-time of no less than 30 hours per week will also be considered)

Roots HR CIC are looking for an experienced Administrator to deliver high-quality administration to support the work of the CEO, Directors,





Consultants and team and first-class customer service to clients.

The Role

- Working under the guidance of the Consultancy Services and Finance Executive, you will provide general administration and support including:
- Providing administrative support to the CEO and Consultants
- Answering the telephone, transferring callers, taking accurate messages and arranging calls/online meetings as appropriate in a professional and friendly manner
- Initial handling of client or prospect enquiries
- Composing and sending out appropriate and professional emails to clients, stakeholders and staff
- Sending out approved marketing communications to clients, prospects and supporters
- Coordination and administration of webinars and other events
- Entering data into the database and running weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as requested
- Supporting Consultancy Services and Finance Executive with finance tasks
- Co-ordinating feedback and evaluation of HR and pro bono services provided to clients e.g.,





sending satisfaction surveys
- Undertaking filing and archiving of electronic documents
- Researching, ordering and purchasing office and stationary supplies and liaising with suppliers
- Following remote diagnostic instructions from IT and telecoms providers to fix low-level technology issues
- Ordering and despatching gifts and sending cards etc to clients
- Researching and booking hotels and travel for the CEO, directors and consultants as appropriate

About You
As an administrator, you will be experienced at delivering excellent customer service and satisfaction and have general office administrative and clerical experience.

You will have:
Computer literacy, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and preferably Microsoft 365.






Good verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail for high levels of accuracy.
Strong personal organisational skills, able to prioritise and manage own time and workload.
A logical and methodical approach to maintaining systems, including electronic and paper filing.
Ability to research, collate and evaluate information.
Effective at building and maintaining relationships with clients, colleagues, suppliers etc.
Experience of using IT systems and databases.
