This is an exciting time to be working at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation one of the biggest NHS Trusts in the UK, delivering care to more than 1.6 million people a year through our three main hospitals: Barnet, Chase Farm and Royal Free.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced therapist to work with the Therapy services senior leadership team to lead and implement service improvement continuing to look at innovative ways of delivering high quality clinical care in the most efficient manner; and ensuring effective governance of practice.
The therapy services team has an ethos of using quality improvement methodology to drive change; encouraging and incorporating research into clinical practice and being at the forefront of innovation such as the use of Advanced Clinical Practitioners and First Contact Practitioners. The post holder will drive improvements in service delivery and staff engagement and wellbeing alongside a team of experienced clinical leads and the senior leadership team. Ideally, the successful candidate will be a clinician from one of the AHP professions that are managed within therapy services (dietitian; occupational therapist; physiotherapist; podiatrist; speech and language therapist). This post is an excellent position to gain valuable operation, management and leadership experience.
The successful candidate is required to be able demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. In particular you should have proven experience of leading teams and be willing to work in new and innovative ways.
