Job Overview The Installation / Site Joiner is responsible for the installation, assembly, and finishing of woodwork and other related materials on-site. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery, with hands-on experience in site installations and a keen understanding of construction and safety protocols. Key Roles and Responsibilities Fit-out joinery experience in both commercial and retail environments. Knowledge of current health and safety regulations and willingness to uphold the companies safety standards. Use tools and equipment safely, and ensure that all work areas are kept clean and hazard-free.
Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during installation, such as fitting challenges or material defects. Communicate effectively with the project manager and other team members to find solutions. Report any issues, delays, or additional material requirements to the site supervisor. Experience and Qualifications Proven experience (typically 3+ years) as a joiner with a focus on site installation. Experience working on commercial or residential fit-out projects Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans. NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent qualification. CSR card is required. Personal Attributes Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Good communication and teamwork skills.
