The role and what youll be getting up to on a day to day basis:

Littlefish is seeking a Central Government Sales and Strategy Manager to lead all Central Government sales and strategy activities to ensure that as a minimum sales targets are met and future pipeline is built.

To use your sales professionalism, your knowledge and experience and your extensive network of current/former colleagues, partners, customers and Social Media channels, as well as internal marketing driven introductions or leads, to identify, prospect and generate net new order bookings against agreed targets in line with the sales strategy and compensation plan via the sale of end to end IT Managed Services solutions.

building enduring and resilient internal and partner relationships to demonstrably deliver industry leading customer engagement and insight to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction, associated successful sales and future referral business.

Share your knowledge and experience within Littlefish to improve the client experience

Your main duties will include:

- To develop and execute a strategy to grow Littlefish market presence across Central Government and suppliers
- To collect and maintain competitive intelligence to provide the Sales Director with the ability to understand where Littlefish is placed in the market
- To meet/exceed the sales and revenue targets by identifying and actively promoting and supporting business opportunities






- To develop new sales opportunities through proactive engagement with prospects and customers at all levels up to and including at executive level
- To present solutions to the customer, focusing on the customers business demonstrating how Littlefish can add value and competitive advantage to their organization.
- To establish and maintain clear view of future account relationships with short and long term outlook and strategies working with Service Account Managers to ensure lasting client engagement.
- Ensure that Littlefish demonstrates its Social Value credentials in the most effective way
- To leverage relationships with prospects to win business without competitive pressure and be recognized as a source of competitive advantage to their business
- To maintain best value relationships with key customers / manufacturers / partners,





including mapping Littlefishs personnel to customers management up to and including executive level
- To compile and analyse sales figures and provide accurate activity reports, forecasts and other related information as required in a timely manner
- To provide sales information to the Sales Director as required defining individual performance against financial targets.
- To develop and maintain quarterly, bi-annual and annual business plans
- Establish a channel/partner strategy for Central Government
- To collaborate extensively with Marketing for specific events such as shows, seminars and round table events which require active participation of/input from other areas of the business






- To work directly with the service architects and consultants to ensure the correct technical information and support is available to meet customers requirements.

What are we looking for in the successful candidate?

- A strong network within Central Government and suppliers/partners
- An outstanding understanding of IT Managed Services
- An excellent understanding of Service Desk Outsourcing/Out tasking/Overflowing
- Strong net New Business track record
- A good understanding of the Microsoft, Cisco, Nimble, HP and Netapp marketplace and services portfolio
- Exposure to the telecoms / datacomms /End User Services industry in a sales role
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office packages and CRM understanding
- At least 5 years experience in a sales role where there is demonstrable career progression and achievement, preferably 10 years experience






- At least 5 years experience of working with:
- customers (medium and large) operating in diverse sectors
- large geographically dispersed teams (including remote workers and remote services)
