**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Care Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to take on responsibility and play a vital part in our expansion. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care, ensuring that our values of compassion, respect, and dignity are at the forefront of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Care Staff: Provide support, guidance, and leadership to our care team in the field, ensuring they deliver person-centred care in line with our standards and policies.
- Conduct Assessments: Carry out assessments of client needs and preferences, creating and reviewing personalised care plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of care delivered,
conducting regular field visits and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
- Training and Development: Facilitate ongoing training and development for care staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide outstanding care.
- Client Liaison: Build strong relationships with clients and their families, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and effectively.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with management and other team members to foster a positive working environment and promote team cohesion.
- Administration: Maintain accurate records, including care plans, staff performance, and incident reports, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Visits:
To be included in the ongoing schedule for our clients to work alongside our team of Community Care Assistant and reflect the positive team ethos.
- On call: To be part of the on-call rota taking responsibility for incoming calls during out of hours where Clients and Community Care Assistants need additional support.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of person-centred care principles and relevant regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and foster a supportive environment.
- Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable (can be organised as part of the benefits of the role).
