Our Investment Operations team are a well-regarded and critical partner to our investment affiliates. Joining this team will provide exposure to the fast pace of an investment middle office. It is an opportunity to experience investment infrastructure in action and work with respected investment professionals. You will be immersed in practical and meaningful tasks immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily reconciliations of investment portfolios to counter-parties and clients;
- Production of daily cash flow reports
- Portfolio reporting for Fund Managers and clients;
- Compliance monitoring and reporting;
- Investor servicing;
- Business process improvement and operations optimisation;
- Technology support; and
- Project work.
The Successful Candidate:
- 1-3 years prior experience in an operations role within the asset management industry;
- Working knowledge of OMS/PMA environments is desired, with BBG AIMS/Eze experience preferred;
- Experience performing daily trade operations, including the use of platforms such as CTM/Traiana/GTSS for trade matching;
- Experience performing holdings/NAV and cash reconciliation across both fund vehicles and segregated accounts;
- Strong asset class knowledge, with a focus on global equities, FX, and fixed income;
- Understanding of different fund structures and local regulatory requirements;
- Experience with building strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders; and
- Excel VBA and Python skills highly desirable, with a desire to optimise processes and improve middle office services.
