Be responsible for the delivery and development of the Paediatric Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy Services within Central London Community Health Care Trust (CLCH).
The post holder will be an autonomous practitioner, taking a lead in co-ordinating and providing a highly specialist physiotherapy service to children with MSK, Rheumatological and Orthopaedic conditions. A significant proportion of these children will have English as an additional language (EAL). He/she will be expected to manage their own caseload, they may need to work alongside medical staff to ensure highly specialist therapy programmes are in place for the children under their care.
They will be expected to work collaboratively with children/young people (CYP), parent/carers and with colleagues in Health, Education and Social Services, in planning and delivery of services to this specific client group. He/she will be the key contact for the paediatric MSK and rheumatology services and will represent the department at relevant meetings both within and outside.

To support the management of the Paediatric Physiotherapy service to deliver and develop high quality services.
Working Times - Mon-Friday 8-5pm
- Be professional and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of your own work including the management of patients in your care. Ensure a consistently high level of clinical care for the patients under your management and support your peers to do likewise.
- Provide an equal and equitable service for all patients, including the harder to reach population groups.
- Undertake a comprehensive assessment of patients, using investigative and analytical skills. Be aware of your professional limitations, seeking support as necessary through supervision, discussion with peers/more senior colleagues and team case discussions.
- Use a variety of assessment and treatment techniques appropriate to the patient, in accordance with evidence-based practice, national guidelines and trust and departmental policy (including manual handling and confidentiality).
To be responsible for the provision and on-going development of the Physiotherapy Service for children aged of 4-16/18 with Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedic and Rheumatological conditions across the Borough of Barnet

Our temporary staffing shifts are calculated hourly and paid weekly. You are paid only for the hours you actually work during any Assignment. Bank workers are paid on fixed third point based on the Agenda for Change (AFC) pay bands.
