Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEND)
Location: Sheffield (S11, S5, S8, S2, S21, S7, S17)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our supportive school community in Sheffield. In this role, you will work closely with teachers to support students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), ensuring they receive a tailored and enriching learning experience. Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with SEND.
Assist in implementing individualised education plans.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
Support student's social, emotional, and academic development.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
Skills & Qualities:
A successful SEND Teaching Assistant should have:
Empathy & Patience: Ability to understand students' unique needs and adapt your approach.
Strong Communication Skills: To effectively liaise with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.
Adaptability & Creativity: Flexibility in handling diverse challenges and finding creative solutions.
Experience or Qualifications: Previous experience working with vulnerable people, or an equivalent qualification in SEND or child care, is essential for this role.
