WASTE OPERATIVE

Working in partnership with several council owned recycling centres within Hull and East Riding and we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Waste Operatives. This is a fantastic opportunity that offers ongoing work with training opportunities, fair pay (£11.44hr) and opportunities for permanent positions.

Location

We are ideally looking for people that have their own transport and would be willing to commute to Goole, Driffield, Preston, East and West Hull or a minimum of 3 of these locations. Being able to be flexible with location will open a wider opportunity for you to secure a permanent position.

Shift pattern / Working hours







Various shifts available such as - 6:45am-4:15pm / 9:45am-5:15pm / 6am-6pm

This client operates 7 days a week however we will try our best to work around you and book you for the shifts on the days of the week you would prefer.

Start date / Duration

Waste Operative positions will commence with immediate effect. This can lead to ongoing, long-term work.

Job description

· Waste Operatives are responsible carrying out work that can be physically demanding.

· Dealing with the public.

· Directing the public to the right areas to dispose of their waste correctly.

· You must adhere to all Health & Safety regulations.

· Lifting and loading.

· General housekeeping duties.

The successful candidate:

· Previous experience working as a labourer or Waste Operative is ideal but is not essential.

· Reliable with good timekeeping.

· Happy to speak to the public in a polite and helpful manner.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
