Central London Forward (CLF) is a partnership of the 12 central London local authorities. We work together with our member authorities and with other stakeholders to support inclusive and sustainable growth in central London; so that our economy thrives, and our residents benefit from the opportunities this creates. This exciting role will be responsible for leading a varied programme of policy and public affairs activity at a pivotal time for the capital.

You will be responsible for managing the production of high-quality research, engaging with government to push for the changes our members want to see, and supporting our communications and events work.





The role will involve both working with senior politicians and officers at our member authorities, and with a broader range of stakeholders including London Councils, the GLA, central government and business groups. You will lead a great team of three policy officers, and contribute to the direction of CLF as part of the management team.

We are seeking someone who is passionate about London, local government and inclusive growth. The role requires exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, and strong project management. We are looking for a strategic thinker, who has experience of policy and public affairs work, and a good understanding of London’s local government.
