We are seeking interested applicants to have achieved or be expected to achieve an Economics, Maths or Finance related degree that’s it!.
no prior experience needed.
Key skills / attributes that we’d be looking for from the successful candidate are :
- Numerate and good with spreadsheets and data modelling.
- An eye for detail
- The ability to review and challenge.
- Interest in learning more about the water industry and utility regulation,
using knowledge and skills to support the company's approach.
Your Graduate scheme
Working in a small team of economists and accountants this role will see you helping to set the annual charges to around 1.
5 million customers for their water and wastewater services, and also for other services we provide including connections for new developments.
You’ll be supporting the analysis and reporting of around £1 billion in revenue each year. This will see you contributing to the Company's business plan and engagement with the industry regulators.
The role will be based in our South-East Wales offices, with a hybrid approach to home and office-based working.

Good to know
Your graduate scheme will primarily be based South-East Wales. However, on occasions and with notice you may be expected to travel to sites across the whole of Wales and its borders.
Recruitment process : we are running our adverts until December 8th. Should your application meet our criteria, you’ll be sent a short assessment to complete.
The second stage of assessment will be an in-person assessment centre, which likely take place at a location in Cardiff between February / March 2025.
