Senior Finance Manager
Temporary 3-months initially
Pay £32.97 per hour plus £3.98 per hour holiday pay (equivalent to annual salary of £60,000 FTE)
Part-time (10 hours per week)
Hybrid or remote working, with an office based in Hammersmith, London

Charity People is partnering with charity dedicated to combating human trafficking and modern slavery. Through frontline partnerships, advocacy, and survivor support, they work to protect vulnerable communities, prevent exploitation, and empower those affected by trafficking, focusing on sustainable,
long-term solutions to end modern slavery globally. They are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join their Senior Leadership Team and play a critical role in managing the organisation's finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce monthly consolidated accounts and rolling cash-flow forecasts
* Lead the annual budget planning process
* Manage payroll and supplier payments, including international grants
* Oversee statutory accounts and act as the main contact for UK auditors and communicate with US accountants
* Prepare finance papers for quarterly Finance, Compliance and Risk Committee and board meetings
Essential Requirements:
* Qualified accountant with at least 3 years of charity sector experience
* Knowledge of SORP, charity audit requirements, and restricted/unrestricted funds
* Strong skills in Excel and Xero, with experience in payroll accounting
