Senior Legal Counsel / In-house Corporate Legal Counsel ⚡️ Fintech / Finance / Investments London (Hybrid)Full right to work in the United Kingdom is required £100-140k per annum (experience dependent) Full-time Minimum 8 years of relevant experience required Our client, a leading global trading firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel / In-House Corporate Legal Counsel with extensive knowledge and a hands on approach. . The role involves supporting the company's rapid growth, navigating multi-jurisdictional regulations, and building commercially advantageous relationships with stakeholders.

With a focus on securities law, brokerages, and emerging markets,





this position requires a strategic legal professional with deep regulatory expertise. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Legal Counsel / In-house Corporate Legal Counsel Strategic Legal Counsel: Provide guidance on financial regulations, licensing, and multi-jurisdictional legal matters. Regulatory Compliance: Advise on retail protection regulations, cross-jurisdictional compliance, and regulatory strategy.

Contract Review & Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to trading activities and new product offerings. Risk Management: Support the commercial team with accurate guidance on legal risks and financial regulations. Dispute Management: Manage commercial and employment disputes in collaboration with senior leadership.

Qualifications & Skills required by the Senior Legal Counsel / In-house Corporate Legal Counsel :Qualified Solicitor/Attorney with substantial experience in financial markets, securities, and derivatives. Deep understanding of global financial regulations and emerging markets. Proven experience in contract negotiation, regulatory analysis,





and legal compliance.

Expertise in RegTech, Data Privacy (e.g., GDPR), and company mergers and acquisitions. Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
