Working 36.5 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work across busy multi-disciplinary teams as a Senior Practitioner to oversee and facilitate social work practices.
You will work as part of the community social work teams to deliver on person centred practices where citizens are enabled to exercise choice, control, independence, with a focus on positive risk enablement and making safeguarding personal in accordance with the Care Act 2014.
You will have significant social work experience, the ability to work positively as part of a multi-disciplinary team,
in partnership with other stakeholders, together with an interest in and skills to work within the specific constituency based or city-wide multi-disciplinary team.
You will supervise the practice of qualified social workers, ensuring best practice in adherence to legislative and policy requirements, providing effective supervision and support with professional development, and supporting the Team Manager with overall management of the team.
You should be eligible to be registered with Social Work England.
