- Our new Options School - Skylarks School is in Epsom, Surrey.
The school willhave capacity for 60 pupils and is due to open in December 2024. Skylarks School will cater to pupils ages 11 – 19-year-old who have ASC andComplex Needs.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will connect directly with the brilliant pupilswe care for, helping to make sure they get the very best from their education. Each individual has a diagnosis of Autism and may have additional needs.
Theyhave so much potential, and they will rely on you to guide their learningjourneys bespoke to them. You will help prepare learning materials and run classroom activities,
withplenty of hands-on experience and some supervision too. You will takeresponsibility for their emotional and physical needs, supporting them todevelop as individuals and engage with the world.
You will face challenges and overcome them as you flourish and thrive, sharingyour skills and learning from others as your career takes you as high as youalways dreamed you could go. Every day will be different, but you will have all the support you need, withlots of skills and experience to draw on along with valuable advice andguidance too.

- You will be adaptable and ready to work in a variety of classroom roles, bothindoors and outside according to individual need.
Taking a responsive andcaring approach, you may be running classroom activities,
leading outdoorexperiences, or supervising pupils as they explore further afield. Our schools are built on great teamwork and mutual support.
