- - As part of our continued growth in service, we are looking for a TeachingAssistant to join our amazing team at Heath Farm School located in Ashford.
- - About the role*
- You will work under the direct instruction of an assigned teacher, usually inthe designated learning environment with a teacher, to support access tolearning for students and provide general support to the teacher in themanagement of pupils and the classroom.
Work may sometimes be undertakenoutside the main teaching area - this may include off site locations includingcollege settings. To lead small parts of lessons with a small number ofstudents. To share the school’s responsibility to support and promote thelearning, personal development and well-being of all students. General Responsibilities
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils and young people
- Work in accordance with professional practice,
statutory and legal requirements and the policies of the school
- Take on specific tasks related to the day-to-day administration and organisation of the school
- Take responsibility for specific areas of work which will be reviewed annually then negotiated and agreed within the performance management cycle and school improvement process
- Take on any additional responsibilities which might from time to time be determined*
