- - Colne Grange School is our
Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 settingfor pupils aged 3 - 11 years old setting. Colne Grange deploys a wide range ofteaching strategies to engage and develop the progress of learners, whopresent with a range of learning difficulties and styles.
Our pupils aretaught in smaller class sizes and work towards an Equals Semi-FormalCurriculum and National Curriculum expectations where appropriate.
This opportunity is located in Uxbridge, a 15-minute walk from Uxbridge railstation and within commutable distance of Central London and surrounding areasvia the Piccadilly and Metropolitan Lines.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will connect directly with the brilliant pupilsand young people we care for, helping to make sure they get the very best fromtheir education. Each individual has a diagnosis of Autism and may haveadditional needs.
They have so much potential, and they will rely on you toguide their learning journeys bespoke to them. You will help prepare learning materials and run classroom activities, withplenty of hands-on experience and some supervision too.
You will takeresponsibility for their emotional and physical needs, supporting them todevelop as individuals and engage with the world.
You will face challenges and overcome them as you flourish and thrive, sharingyour skills and learning from others as your career takes you as high as youalways dreamed you could go. Every day will be different, but you will have all the support you need, withlots of skills and experience to draw on along with valuable advice andguidance too.

If you come from hospitality,the army, outdoor activity centres or an office-based job but are eager tohelp vulnerable pupils and young people to live happy, fulfilling lives,
thisis the role for you. We will provide you with full training and development tosucceed within your role. You will be adaptable and ready to work in a variety of classroom roles, bothindoors and outside according to individual need.
Taking a responsive andcaring approach, you may be running classroom activities, leading outdoorexperiences or supervising pupils as they explore further afield.
