The Company Trainee Recruitment Consultant
If youre looking to join a recruitment firm where you can really hit the ground running, this is the one for you. You will work alongside the top performer of the company, learning all the best ways to be successful directly from her mentorship.
You will specialise within the Quant Trading space, working with clients both in the UK and the US. As you learn the markets, and progress up the ladder, you will soon take on your own vertical within the space and start to build a team below you.
To give you some context, others in the company have grown out their own team after being here for just 18 months, meaning your success will come quickly.

The Benefits Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Starting salary of £25k, rising with each promotion
- Transparent career progression laid out from day one (first promotion within 9 months -> £30k salary)
- Uncapped commission structure rising to 45%, seeing you earn over £55k in your first year

The Role Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Sourcing new clients through business development
- Attending client meetings and building excellent relationships with clients
- Headhunting potential candidates through LinkedIn
- Interviewing candidates and putting them forward to meet with your clients
- Managing the end-to-end interview process and liaising with both parties
- Negotiating the best salary for your candidate
- Building out your network and consistently updating the company database
- Working towards targets and earning commission!
The Ideal Candidate Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Degree educated with a 2:1 or above
- Positive mindset and enthusiasm for building relationships with clients
- Competitive nature and want to be the best you can be
- Financially and career motivated
- Confident speaking with a range of individuals both on and off the phone
