Overview
We are seeking experienced enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of front-of-house operations, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and a memorable dining experience.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
- Assist with seating arrangements and manage reservations efficiently.
- Take customer orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards and restaurant protocols.
- Provide support during catering events, ensuring that all guest needs are met promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service delivery.
- Assist in bartending duties when required, including mixing drinks and serving alcoholic beverages responsibly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- A team player who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic bartending skills or willingness to learn would be beneficial.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
