We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior E-commerce Merchandiser to join the Hawes & Curtis team. The ideal candidate will support our merchandising strategy to boost online sales, enhance our digital presence, and ensure an exceptional customer shopping experience. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for fashion retail, a keen eye for product presentation, and an interest in eCommerce.
Key Responsibilities:Assist in developing and executing eCommerce merchandising strategies to align with the overall business objectives of Hawes & Curtis. Maintain and manage product assortments, ensuring accurate, engaging product displays and descriptions on our website.
Work closely with the Marketing and Buying teams to create product campaigns and promotions that drive customer interest and boost sales.
Assist in optimising product content and metadata to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic. Monitor website performance and product sell-through, providing insights to enhance online product presentation and sales. Ensure our product range is accurately represented across the website, working with assisted software to maintain data accuracy.
Conduct competitor analysis to support the identification of trends and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with Customer Support to ensure customer queries related to online products are resolved effectively. Stay updated with eCommerce industry trends and best practices to bring fresh ideas to the table.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:1-2 years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or retail merchandising. Understanding of SEO principles and eCommerce product optimisation. Strong organisational and time-management skills,
with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with multiple eCommerce platforms is advantageous. Experience with Google Analytics or similar tools for monitoring and improving website performance is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
