About the role
The Executive Assistant is a key member within the Faculty of Brain Sciences, Faculty Office team. The post holder will provide high level Executive Assistant support to the Director of Operations and Deputy to the Dean through actively managing their diaries, organizing and preparing papers for meetings, processing finance and personnel records and acting as the first point of contact for the Faculty Office.
Working closely with the Faculty Executive Officer to provide comprehensive administrative assistance to support the smooth and effective functioning of the Faculty as a whole. The postholder will also assist with Faculty events such as graduations and open days when required.
About you
We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant professional who will be able to provide effective direct operational support and diary management to the Director of Operations and Deputy to the Dean, plus wider support to the Faculty Executive Officer, Vice Deans, and Dean. You will ideally have experience of working in a Higher Education setting and of providing support to more than one senior manager simultaneously. You will also have the ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks assigned to you by the Director of Operations, Deputy to the Dean and Faculty Executive Officer,
holding responsibility for their effective and timely management. We are looking for an individual who is able to manage competing demands, has excellent organisational skills, can communicate effectively with tact and diplomacy with a wide range of stakeholders, has an attitude of flexibility and is willing to take on a variety of tasks to support the Faculty office.
