Responsibilities
- Design and deliver comprehensive Maths lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum guidelines
- Differentiate instruction based on students' learning needs and abilities
- Employ a range of teaching strategies to engage students and promote active learning
- Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching resources and materials
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and inquiry
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
Requirements
- A recognized teaching qualification with a specialization in Maths
- Previous experience teaching Maths in a primary or secondary school setting
- Solid understanding of the national curriculum guidelines for Maths
- Strong knowledge of pedagogical approaches and techniques for teaching Maths
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Effective classroom management skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
