Investment Director, High Impact Private Equity & Growth Investor, Multiple Locations, Europe About our client
Our client's mission is to support growth and innovation in the circular economy. It seeks to identify businesses operating in Europe that require up to €15m of equity investment.
It has an integrated approach to measuring and reporting ESG factors and uses this information to support investeepany growth.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Investment Director to join the current team and contribute to the execution of pipeline investments, in the investment management of portfoliopanies and in portfolio reporting across the UK, Benelux, DACH, Spain, and Scandinavia.
This individual will play a key role in bolstering the teams capabilities across Europe where the fund already have a successful track record. What the job involves
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to originate investment opportunities across Europe;
- Leading the evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities including the preparation of investmentmittee papers, the review and assessment of due diligence reports and the review of legal documentation;
- Supporting the partners in investment and portfolio management and taking lead investment management roles for specific investments within the second fund portfolio; and
- Assisting the partners in the regular portfolio reporting process.
Who we are looking for
- European language skills or a cultural understanding across one or more NW European markets, principally Dutch, German or Scandinavian
- Direct senior investment experience with small-to-mid market European private equity
- Extensive experience and track record across multiple private equity,
fundraising and M&A; transactions
- Strong and active network across the corporate finance and broader intermediarymunity, banks and other relevant organisations and hubs
- Personable andfortable working as part of a small, dedicated and highly motivated team and a friendly team player, willing to assist in all areas of office life
