Job description
Wayman Group is currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated History teacher to join a beautiful school in Barnet starting in April.

Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging and well-structured History lessons
- Tailor teaching methods to suit the individual needs of each student
- Assess and evaluate student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback
- Encourage critical thinking and analytical skills through classroom discussions and activities
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and organize educational trips and events
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records
Requirements
- A relevant degree in History or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching History in a primary or secondary setting
- Excellent knowledge of the History curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for education and a genuine desire to inspire and motivate students
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Organizational skills and ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively
