We are pleased to collaborate with a well-regarded secondary school in Surrey seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join their faculty.
This full-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to inspire a love for mathematics and foster critical thinking skills in young learners.
Position Overview :
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and engaging Mathematics curriculum to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The role entails creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to develop their mathematical abilities and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and deliver inspiring and rigorous Mathematics lessons aligned with the national curriculum and the school's educational philosophy.
- Employ a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure student engagement.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing personalized learning plans.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Mathematics department and across the wider school community to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
- Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and educational best practices in Mathematics education.
Qualifications and Experience :
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level.
