Exciting Opportunity : English Teacher (Long-Term) Cover in Oxted
Are you an enthusiastic and experienced English Teacher looking for a job in Oxted? We have an exciting long-term cover position available at a reputable school in the heart of the community, where there will be no planning and minimal marking.

Employment Type : Full-time, Long-Term Cover
Wage : £31,350 - £47,839 per annum

Responsibilities :
- No planning (other than daily planning for the lessons as MDT planning in place) & minimal marking.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to participate.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and contribute to the school's academic programs.
- Engage students in meaningful discussions and activities that promote critical thinking, creativity, and independent learning.
Requirements :
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
- Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
- Passion for literature, language, and the art of teaching, with a commitment to inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
- Excellent communication,
interpersonal, and organizational skills.
