Responsibilities
- Create and deliver engaging and challenging music lessons to students across different age groups and abilities.
- Foster and promote a positive learning environment in the classroom.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum that aligns with national educational standards.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure their continuous development.
- Inspire students' interest and passion for music through a variety of teaching methods and resources.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the overall improvement of the music department.
- Actively participate in extracurricular activities, including school concerts and performances.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a music teacher in a primary or secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of UK national curriculum standards for music.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage students and create a positive classroom environment.
- Effective classroom management skills.
- A passion for music and a commitment to nurturing students' musical talents.
