Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging Maths curriculum to students.
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback.
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop innovative teaching strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with latest teaching methods, trends, and developments in the field of Maths education.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Previous experience teaching Maths in a primary / secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and relevant assessment strategies.
- Passion for teaching and nurturing students' academic growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
