Job description
This full-time role is based within an NHS inpatient service in Kettering and offers highly negotiable rates for a committed Psychiatrist.
The trust is seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry to work full time (40 hours per week) for an initial period of 2 months.
Your primary responsibilities will involve assessing, diagnosing, and managing the mental health of patients under your care.
The postholder will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients in a community setting, which includes managing functional and organic illnesses as well as conducting memory assessments and providing treatment.
The successful candidate will be supported by a well-structured and well-led MDT,
including Registrars, psychologists, nurses, OTs, and social workers.

Skills :
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate
Requirements :
- Full GMC licence to practise
- Relevant previous experience in a similar role
- Section 12 approval is essential
- Approved Clinician status is desirable but not essential
