Music Teacher Opportunity Croydon Secondary School (September Start)
About the Role :
Our client, a highly regarded secondary school in Croydon, is seeking an accomplished and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join their esteemed music department.
This full-time, permanent position commences in September and offers an exceptional opportunity to shape the musical education of KS3, KS4, and KS5 students.
Whether you are an experienced music educator or a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT),
this role provides a platform for professional growth and fulfillment within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and deliver engaging and inspiring music lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Design and implement innovative lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum objectives.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
- Actively contribute to the development and enhancement of the music department's overall effectiveness.
- Remain current with the latest pedagogical approaches and curriculum developments in music education.
Qualifications and Experience :
- A relevant degree in Music or a related discipline.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
- Demonstrated experience teaching music to KS3, KS4, and / or KS5 students.

for teachers (M1 to UPS3).
