On behalf of a prestigious school in Kensington, we are seeking a dynamic and qualified Science Teacher with a specialism in Biology to join their dedicated team on a part-time basis.

About the Role :
- Deliver engaging and stimulating Science lessons across the curriculum,
fostering a love of exploring the intricacies of the living world, with a focus on Biology.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the Science curriculum, ensuring it aligns with national standards and ignites a passion for scientific exploration.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel empowered to delve into the fascinating world of science.
- Motivate and support students to achieve their full potential in Science, encouraging them to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through dissections, experiments, and real-world applications.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department to further develop the curriculum and resources across all scientific disciplines (as appropriate for the part-time schedule).
The Ideal Candidate :
- A qualified Science Teacher with a specialism in Biology and a proven track record of success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with students and colleagues.
- A deep understanding of biological principles and the ability to translate them into engaging and effective learning experiences.
- A passion for science and a talent for sparking curiosity and a love of learning in students, particularly in Biology.
- The ability to work effectively within a part-time schedule and contribute meaningfully to the Science department.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
