As a Maths teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping and inspiring students, helping them build a solid foundation in mathematics that will serve them throughout their lives.
Responsibilities
- Delivering engaging and interactive maths lessons to primary / secondary students
- Developing and implementing lesson plans and instructional materials
- Assessing and evaluating student progress and providing feedback
- Collaborating with colleagues to create a supportive and cohesive teaching environment
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff
- Applying effective teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles
- Using technology and other resources to enhance the learning experience
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status and relevant teaching qualifications
- Proven experience teaching Maths at the primary / secondary level
- Excellent knowledge of the Maths curriculum and assessment practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students
- Organizational and time-management abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school and students
