Job description
Applicants should meet the following criteria :
- Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing. Or
- Registered Nurse Level 2 - Relevant Competencies for the role.
- Surgical oncology experience i.e. post-operative care
- Willingness to develop or already hold :
- Breast care course / module
- Lymphodema management course
- Advanced communication skills
- Teaching experience
- Audit experience
- Excellent organisation and multitasking skills required.
- Understanding on workload and shift management.
- Patient and caring approach to customer care
Duties of this role include :
- Required to work closely with both Medical and Surgical Oncologists
- Prepare and maintain clinical records of patient care,
with reference to Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) standards for records and record keeping.
- Conduct yourself professionally within the standard and framework provided by the NMC Codes of professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
