We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Wakefield. This full-time position runs from October half term until Christmas, with the possibility of extension.
Start Date : October Half Term ...
End Date : Christmas
Location : Wakefield
Position : Full-time
Requirements :
- QTS or PGCE in Maths (essential).
- Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting.
- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
Responsibilities :
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
- Create an inclusive learning environment that supports all learners.
- Monitor and assess student's progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent teaching standards.
- Support students preparing for GCSE exams, offering additional guidance where needed.
