Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality drama lessons to students in primary and secondary education
- Creating and delivering engaging and dynamic lesson plans
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and direct school productions
- Assessing and providing feedback on students' progress and performance
- Supporting the development of students' confidence and communication skills through drama
- Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Keeping up to date with advancements in drama education and incorporating them into teaching practice
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Drama or a relevant field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching drama to primary or secondary school students
- Strong knowledge of drama education curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and engage students in the performing arts
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team
- Passion for drama education and fostering students' creativity and confidence
