Calling All Passionate Music Educators
We are currently partnering with an esteemed secondary school in Hackney, London, seeking an exceptional Music Teacher to join their vibrant department this September.
This full-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to inspire and nurture young minds through the power of music education.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and deliver engaging and innovative music lessons for students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to explore their musical potential.
- Plan and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their individual learning journeys.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the music department and across the wider school community to enhance the music curriculum and extracurricular offerings.
- Participate in school events, concerts, and performances, showcasing the talents and achievements of your students.
Candidate Profile :
- A qualified teacher with a passion for music education and a strong commitment to student success.
- Experience teaching music at the secondary level (KS3 / 4 / 5) is preferred but not essential for outstanding NQTs.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a thorough understanding of the national curriculum for music.
- A creative and innovative approach to teaching, with the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of learners.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills,
fostering positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
