Job Title : Learning Support Assistant

Location : Birmingham

Job Type : Full-time / Part-time / Temporary

Responsibilities :

- Provide individual and group support to college students with diverse learning needs.
- Assist students in accessing the curriculum and adapting materials as necessary.
- Support students with academic tasks, assignments, and study skills development.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to implement Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and accommodations.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.

Requirements :

- Previous experience in educational support roles, preferably in a college or similar setting.






- Knowledge and understanding of a range of learning difficulties and disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable :

- Relevant qualifications in education, special needs, or related fields.
- Familiarity with assistive technologies and adaptive learning tools.
- Experience with exam accommodations and assessment support.
