Job description
Robert Half is collaborating with a facility management enterprise situated in Canary Wharf to recruit for a proficient Senior Financial Accountant for a 6-month fixed term engagement.
This role offers great benefits, hybrid working and up to a £70,000 salary.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Operate within a structured internal financial controls framework
- Conduct assessments of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring adherence to reconciliation mandates
- Foster precision in financial reporting by actively executing all reviewer suggestions
- Oversee the external audit, Group, and internal audits, alongside Financial Controls & Assurance reviews
- Ensure a precise and seamless Month-End Close process for designated accounts
- Execute Month-End Close activities accurately and punctually
- Investigate discrepancies from Forecasts
- Generate a weekly report on open purchase orders
- Provide assistance to Key Account Managers / Directors during Business Reviews and aid Finance Business Partners in customer reporting tasks
Qualifications :
- Qualified finance professional or finalist
- Previous experience in financial accounting
- Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with adeptness in deadline management
- Proficient communication abilities within the team and broader organisation
