A dynamic secondary school in Hounslow is searching for a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher to join our vibrant school community.
This is a permanent, full-time position starting this September!
The Role :
- Design and deliver engaging food technology lessons that ignite a love for cooking and healthy eating in students of all abilities.
- Equip students with practical culinary skills, from chopping vegetables to baking cakes.
- Foster an understanding of food science, nutrition,
and healthy meal planning.
- Contribute to the school's vibrant food technology program, including extracurricular activities and school food events.
- Maintain a positive and well-managed kitchen environment with excellent communication skills.
You're a Perfect Fit If :
- You hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Food Technology or a relevant Design & Technology specialism.
- You have a proven track record of success in teaching food technology to a variety of age groups.
- You possess a strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Design & Technology (Food).
- A passion for food education with innovative teaching methods defines you.
- You're an excellent communicator with a positive and enthusiastic spirit.
