Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging science lessons that align with the curriculum standards.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student learning and growth.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, exams, and other assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students, helping them improve their understanding and skills in science.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic performance.
- Communicate effectively with parents / guardians regarding student progress and upcoming events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, with a specialization in Science.
- Relevant teaching qualification and valid teaching certification.
- Proven experience in teaching Science at the primary or secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to develop a passion for science.
- Strong organization and time-management skills.
