Job Title : Autism Support Assistant
Location : Hackney
Salary scale : £ 85 -£ 100 dependent on experience and qualifications
Start Date : ASAP
Contract Type : Full-time
Working Hours : 8 : 30 am to 4 : 00 pm (Monday to Friday)

Our Primary School in Hackney is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Autism Support Assistant to join our inclusive and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities :
l Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with autism.
l Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
l Work closely with teachers to create an inclusive classroom environment.
l Support students in developing social, communication, and academic skills.
l Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
l Assist with classroom management and behavior support strategies.
l Facilitate a positive and encouraging learning experience for students with autism.

Requirements :
- Experience working with children with autism is highly desirable.

- Relevant qualifications or training in autism support or special education is a plus.
