The Role :
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the school's dynamic team on a full-time basis.
This is a permanent HLTA position starting in September 2024. The successful HLTA will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, working closely with teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
HLTA - Key Responsibilities :
- Supporting class teachers in the delivery of high-quality lessons.
- Leading small group interventions and providing one-on-one support to students as needed.
- Assisting in the planning and preparation of learning activities.
- Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
- Covering classes in the absence of the teacher when required.
About You :
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about supporting student learning and development.
