On behalf of a prestigious school in Kensington, we are seeking a dynamic and qualified Head of Art (Art & Design Specialist) to join their dedicated team.

About the Role :
- Provide strong and visionary leadership for the Art department,
setting the strategic direction and ensuring the curriculum aligns with national standards and ignites a passion for creative exploration.
- Lead the development and delivery of a stimulating and engaging Art & Design curriculum across all year groups.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel empowered to explore their artistic talents and develop their creative potential.
- Motivate and support a team of Art teachers, providing guidance and promoting professional development.
- Oversee the budget and resources for the Art department, ensuring they are effectively utilized to create an inspiring learning environment.
- Play a key role in the school community, promoting the importance of Art & Design and fostering collaborations with other departments.
The Ideal Candidate :
- A qualified Art & Design teacher with a proven track record of success and experience in a leadership role.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, fostering strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- A deep understanding of Art & Design principles,
current trends, and the ability to translate them into engaging and effective learning experiences.
- A passion for art and a talent for inspiring creativity and fostering a love of learning in students of all abilities.
- The ability to manage a team effectively, delegate tasks, and provide constructive feedback.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
