Job description

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and well-prepared History lessons to students.
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans in alignment with the school curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic success and personal growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive educational community.
- Communicate effectively with parents / guardians, keeping them informed about student progress and concerns.
- Participate in departmental and whole-school meetings,
contributing to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience teaching History at the primary or secondary level.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents / guardians.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for providing high-quality education.
