Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons that cater to the needs and abilities of students
- Assess and evaluate the progress of students regularly, providing constructive feedback and guidance
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes active participation and student engagement
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievement
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians,
providing regular updates on student performance and any areas for improvement
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience teaching Spanish to primary or secondary students
- Excellent knowledge of the Spanish language and culture
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
- Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
- Experience working with diverse student populations and adapting teaching methods accordingly
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a dynamic school environment
