About the role
As a key member of the ERP and New Systems team you will contribute through a flexible and inclusive approach to working.
By building strong business partnering relationships and gaining trust across the organisation you will enable change and expand on a culture of continuous improvement.
Your primary focus will be to assist in developing the Unit4 system to ensure it is robust, secure and fit for purpose. This includes responsibility of system changes and issue resolution and assisting in maintaining a helpdesk functionality for end users.
Using your extensive system knowledge, you will partner with our colleagues to ensure the Unit4 system compliments our financial and governance responsibilities as well as supporting end users and other areas within Corporate Business Support.
With regards to new systems and IT Change Management you will support the ERP Manager in establishing and maintaining processes and procedures to provide an effective and efficient service.
You will assist in providing a comparison between New System requests and Unit4 functionality to enable informed decision making.
About you
We are looking for someone with extensive Unit4 ERP experience including system administration and development. You will have knowledge of continuous improvement and project management process and procedures.
You will be an excellent communicator, comfortable working collaboratively with colleagues at all levels. The successful candidate will require strong organisational skills to manage multiple key deliverables, be able to demonstrate customer focus, and have experience of adhering to governance policies and procedures.

Location
This position can be based in Southampton or Liverpool. Our Southampton site is well connected by public transport and has ample cycle parking in addition to free onsite car-parking with over 40 EV charging points.
The Liverpool centre is part of the University campus and is only a short walk from the city centre and Lime Street station.
