Health Care Associate
District of Columbia £235,000 - £365,000
We are seeking mid-level associates to join our clients innovative, interdisciplinary team focusing on digital health, compliance and risk management, and government investigations for health care and life sciences companies.
This dynamic practice offers substantive experience in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, supported by a collaborative, cross-functional team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Address complex regulatory matters, including Medicare and Medicaid compliance, internal and government investigations, False Claims Act litigation, and Medtech compliance.
- Provide risk-based analyses and clear, concise legal advice to clients.
- Understand clients’ business objectives to offer practical compliance guidance.
- Manage competing priorities and collaborate with specialists in FDA compliance, litigation, technology transactions, and health care privacy.
Growth Opportunities :
- Research and publish on our legal blog, The Health Industry Washington Watch.
- Develop data analysis skills with our data analysts.
- Present at seminars and conferences.
- Participate in secondments to other offices or client businesses.
- Engage in mentoring and pro bono legal services.
Qualifications :
- 3-5 years of health care regulatory and transactions experience.
- Experience with licensing, the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, fraud and abuse laws, and reimbursement.
- Strong academic credentials, research, and writing skills.
- Experience with purchase agreements, management agreements, and regulatory due diligence is a plus.
