Requirements :
- QTS is essential
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Hold knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Experience teaching across both KS3 and KS4
- Dedication to promoting historical literacy and critical thinking skills.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for History and historical inquiry.
Responsibilities :
- Plan and deliver engaging history lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
- Create a well-organised, stimulating learning environment
- Have the passion to teach and to make a difference
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning needs and engage students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to organise historical field trips, guest lectures, and other enrichment activities.
