Job Description :
As an Electrical Design Engineer , you will be a crucial member of the Electrical Design team, leveraging your technical knowledge and experience to produce customized, customer-centric designs.
Under the guidance of the Principal Engineer, you will work on hydraulic, pneumatic, or electromechanical system designs using advanced CAD tools.
You will play a significant role in various projects, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Innovative Design : Apply technical knowledge to design and develop customized solutions.
- Engineering Tasks : Conduct electrical engineering design, analysis, testing, and validation.
- Project Leadership : Plan and lead small to medium-sized projects with some supervision.
- Budget Management : Prepare cost estimates and ensure designs are completed within budget.
- Efficiency and Cost-Effectiveness : Produce efficient designs, reusing existing components where practical.
- Documentation : Prepare and check engineering documents, including drawings, manuals, reports, and calculations.
- Client Interaction : Participate in internal sales contract reviews and design review meetings.
- Compliance :
Ensure deliverables meet client and contract requirements.
- Testing : Develop and participate in test programs and factory acceptance tests to validate designs.
- Engineering Support : Contribute to the investigation, resolution, and documentation of engineering queries.
- Travel : Travel as required by project needs (worldwide travel) for client meetings, site installation, commissioning, testing, and related activities.
Qualifications : Essential :
Essential :
- Degree Level or similar in Electrical or related Engineering field.
- Working knowledge of Eplan or AutoCAD Electrical.
- Experience in a similar position.
- Design and troubleshooting of electromechanical systems.
- Working knowledge within a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of engineering documents and drawings.
- Working knowledge of ISO9001.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Desirable :
- Experience leading electrical design projects within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience in the Energy Industry, specifically Wireline Intervention and completion methods.
- Knowledge of wireline winches, masts, and associated product designs.
- Experience preparing technical files complying with European Regulations.
- Working knowledge of 3D CAD, PLM / PDM data systems.
- Familiarity with design codes : IEC Standards, EU Directives and CE Marking, ATEX, IECEx, Norsok.
